The Innocent Victims of the Boko Haram Sect in Nigeria
While everyone is saddened by the act, seeing is believing. When innocent lives are being lost, dreams shattered, hopes lost, yet, the Nigerian government (in Borno State) is paying the deceased boko haram leader’s family N100 million naira; the alleged killers of this innocent baby are granted bail (in Abuja).
As if that wasn’t enough, the arrested leader of the sect, Kabiru Sokoto, was released. To make the matter worse, the sultan of Sokoto is supporting the sect, as he urges the authorities to stop blaming Boko Haram for the atrocities they have committed in Nigeria.
This shows how Nigerians will continue to be deceived by their so-called leaders. Does Nigeria really have a future? What’s the way forward? Should Nigerians still pretend we are all one? Isn’t it time we faced the truth, that Nigeria can’t continue like this?
